The Fool
Dressed for the part to entertain you. The Fool card is about that leap of faith to the abyss. He is dressed so bizarre and with a cheerful ‘I don’t care’, attitude. The Fool takes his belonging wherever he goes. Up in a cloth tied to a stick he is off to anywhere with thoughtlessness to a neighborhood near you.
Upright: This card warns of the levity that comes with an uneducated act. Being spontaneous or taking a leap of faith can have some hazards if you don’t ask questions about your getting into. You can overcome this card if you recognize the foolishness you get into.
Reversed: Reckless choices can lead to a “bad idea”, and you will regret not listening to reason. The term “Don’t be naive” applies with this card. If you end up taking a foolish risk, seek the help of a wiser person than yourself.
Keywords: Beginnings, Innocence, Spontaneity, Rashness, Obsession, Mania, Thoughtlessness.
