This striking ink drawing depicts a scene that is both haunting and fascinating. In the foreground of the image, a majestic unicorn is shown in the process of being consumed by the gnarled roots and branches of a twisted tree. The details of the tree are incredibly intricate and seen to suggest a malevolent intelligence at work. Two cherubs, with expressions of awe and terror on their faces, watch on from the background, adding to the otherworldly quality of the image. Graphite, Black and Gold pen and ink drawing on sketch paper. Currently matted and framed.
