Short Description: This card is the “monster under the bed” of the tarot deck. It represents late-night worries, anxiety, and fears that keep you tossing and turning. Those scary nightmare clouds are often scarier in your head than they are in reality.

Upright Meaning: The little orange cloud is trapped in a bad dream. This is a card of mental anguish, where your thoughts have turned into a thunderstorm of worry. You’re losing sleep over something, and your fears (the nightmare clouds) feel overwhelming, even waking you from your rest.

Reversed Meaning: The sun is coming out! The orange cloud is waking up and realizing the nightmares aren’t real. You are starting to face your fears, share your worries with others, or understand that you were blowing things out of proportion. The storm in your mind is finally clearing.
