Card Description: As the sun sets over the prairie, a brave mother prairie dog stands her ground. With a magical wand glowing with yellow fire, she courageously defends her burrow from two encroaching badgers. Inside the burrow, her precious pups are kept safe, protected by a barrier of six more wands.

Meaning

• Upright: This card is the ultimate “stand your ground” moment. Like the mother prairie dog, you are in a position of strength and are called to defend your beliefs, your creations, or your territory. You may feel outnumbered or challenged, but you have the conviction (and the higher ground!) to hold your own. It’s a test of your courage and principles.
• Reversed: When reversed, the fight feels overwhelming. You might be tempted to give up or back down, feeling that the opposition is too strong. This position can indicate self-doubt, insecurity, or simply being tired of the constant battle. It asks you to question if you’re choosing your battles wisely or if you’re letting others walk all over you.
